MARKETING ASSISTANT (Position based in Abidjan)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of presentations and concepts on Power point, printing and binding of completed presentations;
• Organizing and lead meetings ;
• Administration of various control sheets i.e. workflow document / allocating of briefs / filing / product data evaluation ;
• Present to clients in Ivory Coast ;
• Sourcing of product information ;
• Monitoring of the competitive landscape of personal care and household products on the west African market;
• Management of the sample library ;
• Sourcing of products in the market ;
• Marketing Tools maintenance (magazine and Euro monitor subscriptions, stationary .

IDENTIFICATION OF ALL REQUIRED SKILLS

• The position is best suited to an individual wanting a career in beauty and who is willing to learn ;
• A healthy interest in fragrances, fashion and lifestyle is a prerequisite;
• Incumbent must have an eye for detail as this is of extreme importance when preparing presentations ;
• Energetic, Passionate, Innovative, Creative. Positive attitude, Curious;
• Motivated, self-driven, enthusiastic, flexible, creative and efficient, with a positive approach ;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Passionate about the industry and in smelling, touching, discovering and loving the products ;
• Use initiative and share new products, new ideas with department ;
• Ability to turn criticism into positive and creative input.

You have a bachelor's degree plus 3/4 academic year in Marketing, Management with 2/3 years of professional experience. You have a good level in English.
