HSE ADVISOR (Position based in Abidjan) (Rediffusion)

Purpose:

• Participation in developing of HSE programs, plans and procedures for the implementation of the Company’s HSE Management Systems.
• Study, asses, audit, monitor, inspect, advise and update on all matters related to HSE activities.
• Supporting in implementation of company HSE standards by Company / Contractors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering or related technical discipline;
• Preferred: 2 years in Oil & Gas Industry, HSE operations/consultation experiences or equivalent working period with HSE responsibilities in an international contractor;
• Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding HSE requirements;
• Computer literate (knowledge of at least Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to write reports
• Team working capabilities: communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-cultural and international environment
• Ability to supervise international and national staff on HSE matters
• Capacity to integrate within an international and national workforce
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and motivate personnel to observe and respect safety rules
• Supervisory abilities and planning capacity
